Become a goose detective and join a flock of Brent Geese on an amazing journey around the world in “Where The Wild Goose Go” which starts Monday 21st of October on RTÉ 2, RTÉ Player and interactive website rte.ie/goose 

“Where the Wild Geese Go” is a fun project that allows you to join the thrilling journey of the Light-Bellied Brent Geese as they embark on an awe-inspiring migration across the globe. Little is known about these feathered adventurers so to find out more, a team of young goose detectives and curious scientists have come together to track them. This journey from Ireland to Arctic Canada, and back again, is a round trip of over 10,000 kilometres.

“Where the Wild Geese Go” is an original concept created by Irish production company, EZ Films and has been produced in partnership with RTÉ, Screen Ireland, Coimisiúin na Meán, Green Schools, and the University of Exeter.

‘Where The Wild Geese Go’ Enters Production Where The Wild Geese is a hybrid animation documentary project focusing on the migration of the brent goose from Ireland to Canada. The project was developed via the BAI/CMF co-development scheme and has gone into production with support from RTÉ, Screen Ireland and the BAI. The project brings young audiences inside a unique journey exploring the epic migration but also the diverse stories and cultures the birds interact with.
