EZ films drama FAR shortlisted for RTÉ Storyland

FAR written by Shannon Welby and to be produced by David Power of EZ Films has been shortlisted for this year’s storyland series. The 25 minute drama tells the story of a young woman, recently returned home to rural Ireland as she struggles to decide whether to keep her pregnancy, while uncovering her trusty brother’s dark devotion to a far-right group. The project will be directed by Oonagh Kearney.

The project will now enter a development phase alongside seven others, which are part of Storyland 2023. Ultimately three single dramas of 25 minutes duration will be commissioned for production and will be broadcast on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
